Brunei’s Crown Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah, the eldest son of the world’s current longest-reigning monarch Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, will visit Singapore’s cultural sites during a five-day official visit.
Crown Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah, who will be in Singapore from Monday to Friday at the invitation of Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, is expected to explore Sultan Mosque, a premier mosque and prominent landmark in the Kampong Glam Malay Heritage District, The Straits Times reported.
The mosque’s golden domes are adorned with glass bottle ends at the base of the structure.

The main prayer hall can accommodate up to 5,000 worshipers. During peak times, Singaporean authorities often block off the road to allow worshipers to gather around the mosque.
The crown prince would also visit the Malay Heritage Center, a cultural center and museum at Sultan Gate off Beach Road in Kampong Glam, and the Singapore Oceanarium, a popular tourist attraction on Sentosa Island.
His itinerary also includes Temasek Shophouse and Punggol Digital District, the country’s first smart and sustainable district.
