Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has extended the last date for UP PET-2026 application. Candidates will now be able to apply online for PET-2026 till 7th September. Earlier the last date for application was 1 September. Now candidates will be able to deposit fees and submit online applications till 7th September. The last date for amendment in the application will remain 8th September.
UPSSSC has appealed to the candidates not to wait for the last date, complete the application on time. There has been no change in the application process, fees and other rules. Earlier, the online application process had started from August 3.
There were problems in the application process
Earlier, many applicants had informed on social media about the problems being faced in UPSSSC website upsssc.gov.in. The applicants said that the website was not working properly for several days and they were not able to complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process required to fill the PET application form. It was also said in many posts on social media that OTP verification is not working. Candidates say that despite repeated attempts, OTP is not being received. Due to this problem, the candidates were demanding extension of the application deadline from the Commission and Uttar Pradesh officials.

Complete the registration using your basic information, correct mobile number and email ID.
Fill the online application form carefully with your personal, educational and communication information.
Upload the required photo and signature in the prescribed format.
Pay the application fee through online payment gateway.
Check all the filled information carefully before final submission.
Submit the application form.
Download the confirmation page and take a print out of it for future reference.
