Whereas, if seen on the basis of Udayatithi, the date of Janmashtami is the whole day on 4th September, while in Rohini Nakshatra it is till 11:04 AM. Accordingly, this year Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on Friday, 4th September.

Janmashtami will be celebrated in Mrigashira Nakshatra
