Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition : Leading auto manufacturer Mahindra is going to launch the updated version of its sporty electric SUV Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition in India on August 15. The new model will get changes like C-shaped DRLs, tail lamp, Tango Red colour, black alloy wheels and Formula E badge. BE 6 Sporteq is also going to be launched on the same day. Its design and front facia were completely new, which made it different from the regular model. The company has shared the teaser of this upcoming electric car which shows that it will have not one or two but three screens i.e. triple screen setup.
The teaser shows that the new BE 6 Sporteq will have a full width triple screen dashboard as you have also seen on the XEV 9e and XEV 9S. Along with this, to maintain the exclusivity, the company has also pointed towards dark exterior and sportier cabin theme.
The BE 6 is based on Mahindra's INGLO Electric architecture and measures 4371mm in length, 1907mm in width, 1627mm in height, has a wheelbase of 2775mm and ground clearance of 207mm without load and 222mm around the battery pack.
Currently, this electric car is available in 59kWh and 79kWh LFP battery options, the smaller battery is paired with a 170kW electric motor that generates 380Nm torque. While the 79kWh pack is paired with either a 170kW motor or a 210kW unit.
Mahindra may continue to offer this special edition in multiple color options. Apart from this, exclusive elements like special body decals, black alloy wheels and Formula E badge on the front fender will also be seen in the Formula E Edition.
