Cricket Australia (CA) is reportedly keen to host an Indian Premier League (IPL) match for the first time, with Adelaide Oval emerging as the preferred venue if the BCCI approves the proposal.

According to Australian media reports, discussions are in the early stages, with a late-March window under consideration to coincide with the start of the IPL season.

The proposal follows the decision to stage the Big Bash League (BBL) opener in Chennai on December 12 and is being viewed as a reciprocal move to strengthen cricketing ties between India and Australia.
