Questions on role of 25 officers in investigation report Lucknow Fire

The investigation report of Lucknow Development Authority has revealed negligence of 19 engineers and 6 PCS officers. The report has recommended strict action against these officers.

According to the officials of the authority, during the investigation, serious lapses have been found in monitoring and following the rules at many levels, due to which the matter has become more serious.

Preparation to demolish illegal building

The building in Aliganj area where a massive fire broke out and 15 people died, is now being prepared to be demolished. The administration believes that there were many irregularities in the building and safety standards were not followed. After the incident, a technical and administrative investigation was conducted into the entire matter, on the basis of which further action is being decided.

Investigation campaign launched on coaching institutes

After the accident, the joint team of Lucknow Development Authority and Fire Department is continuously inspecting. Under this campaign, many institutions were inspected on Wednesday.

15 coaching buildings were sealed after they were found lacking in security standards. Officials say that action will continue against buildings which do not follow fire safety rules.

Increased strictness across the state

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made it clear that there will be no compromise on fire safety rules. Under this, a campaign is being run across the state.

So far, information about sealing of more than 100 buildings has come to light. The aim of the administration is to prevent recurrence of such incidents and ensure public safety.

Focus will be on fire safety system

Officials say that testing of schools, coaching centres, commercial buildings and other public premises will be further intensified in the coming days. Wherever violation of rules is found, action will be taken as per rules (Lucknow Fire).
