Vaibhav Suryavanshi reveals what Virat Kohli told him after IPL Final


Rising Indian cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi has revealed what Virat Kohli told him after the IPL final on Sunday.


On May 31, the final of 2026 IPL was held, making it the nineteenth tournament.


Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore lifted the trophy for the second time after defending their title.


After the match, 15-year-old prodigy Vaibhav was awarded the orange cap for making the most runs in the tournament.


The young star, who comes from a small town in Bihar, was seen chatting with the Indian legend.

During the most match presser, host Ravi Shastri asked Vaibhav what they talked about and he replied “He was joking around with me and, in a fun way, was asking me for tips on how to hit sixes.”


Shastri asked the young star “How did it feel for you when Virat Kohli himself came up to you?”


The Rajhastan Royals player said “I have been a huge fan of Virat Kohli since childhood, and I started playing cricket by watching him.”


He added that it was a “dream come true” to have the legendary cricketer come up to him and give advice.


The player added “He shared many important tips that will help me grow as a cricketer and also congratulated me. He is truly a wonderful person.”
