At the start of Khuong Dinh Road, some homes have already begun to come down, with households hurrying to gather their last belongings before the handover.

According to the Khuong Dinh Ward Project Management Board, the Ring Road 2.5 segment from Nguyen Trai Road to Dam Hong runs about 1.5 km with a total investment of more than VND2.433 trillion ($92.5 million). More than 60,000 sq.m of land must be recovered, affecting 720 households and 16 organizations.

The clearance process has faced complications in establishing land ownership records. To date, Khuong Dinh Ward has completed all compensation decisions and resettlement arrangements for the households and organizations within the project footprint.
