Thailand's tourism sector is facing a dip, with foreign tourist arrivals down 3.34% year-on-year. As of April 19, the nation welcomed approximately 10.83 million visitors. This marks a significant decline from the record nearly 40 million arrivals seen in 2019, prior to the global pandemic's impact on travel.

Thailand's foreign tourist arrivals so far this year have ‌dropped ⁠3.34% ⁠from a year earlier, the Tourism Ministry said on Tuesday.

From January ⁠1 to ‌April 19, Southeast ⁠Asia's second-largest economy received about 10.83 million foreign arrivals, it said.

Foreign arrivals hit an ‌annual record of nearly 40 million in ⁠2019, before the pandemic.
