Meghan Markle made the sweetest gesture after her best friend's major announcement, it has been revealed. The Duchess of Sussex's close pal Kelly McKee Zajfen welcomed her third child, Jack Oliver Zajfen, recently and she shared the happy news last Thursday.

Her post included pictures of the new family members, alongside the caption: "The best birthday gift ever. Happiest birthday to you sweet Jack Oliver Zajfen. (Jack: In honour of my Gandpa. Oliver: In honour of our Georgie. Now they share the same middle name)This family of 5 is madly in love. Full of all the emotions and taking it all in. Thank you all for being apart of this journey and loving our family. I have felt carried and loved so very much and that's what Community is all about. Get ready for a lot of baby content."

This Wednesday, Kelly revealed that her close pal had sent her a sweet present to celebrate the joyous news.

In a picture posted on her stories, Kelly showed that the Duchess had sent her white roses from her own garden in Montecito, California.

She shared the message: "Nothing like fresh cut garden roses next to your bedside @meghan."

Meghan's pal founded the Alliance of Moms after her nine-year-old son Georgie died after contracting a viral illness in 2022.

She previously told People magazine: "The mornings are the hardest for me. Waking to the reality that my son is gone. It is hard to articulate this kind of pain...

"The moment I wake, I relive our last moments together. It is traumatic, painful, and so very vivid...

"The moment my son died, part of me did too. The previous version of myself was no longer, and the new me introduced herself."

Kelly added: "We had no idea when we took him into the hospital that 12 hours later, he would not make it. My 9-year-old son George died. Died of Covid and viral meningitis.

"A healthy and vibrant boy could not fight it. We lost him. I kissed him. But it was to say goodbye. It is impossible to know how to survive this type of grief. "
