Haryana Weather: These days, both day and night temperatures are being recorded much higher than normal in most parts of Haryana. According to the Meteorological Department, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Hisar on Sunday at 37.5 degrees Celsius, which is 8.8 degrees Celsius more than normal. Whereas in Yamunanagar the minimum temperature was recorded at 18.9 degrees Celsius, which was 7.5 degrees Celsius more than normal.
Meteorologists say that both day and night temperatures in the entire state remain above normal. Weak Western Disturbances are likely to become active one after the other on March 11 and then on March 14. Due to their influence, the weather will remain continuously changeable in the first fortnight of March and movement of clouds may be seen from time to time.
However, these western disturbances are likely to remain weak, hence their impact will be limited mainly to the northern mountainous regions. Only movement of clouds and light drizzle at some places is expected in Haryana. There is no possibility of much rain at present, due to which only slight fluctuations in temperature can be seen.
For the last few days, a slight increase in temperature is being recorded in the state, the effect of which is also visible on the crops standing in the fields. In the crops which had 15 to 20 days to ripen, the grains have started ripening before time. According to experts, this situation can become a matter of concern for farmers, because there is a possibility of it affecting production.
Weather experts have advised farmers to keep regular monitoring of crops in view of the changing weather. Due to rising temperatures, it may be beneficial to continue light irrigation in the fields. In case of any problem, farmers can contact the nearest agriculture officers. At the same time, common people have also been advised to protect themselves from strong sunlight during the afternoon.
According to the Meteorological Department, a major change in the weather may be seen in the second fortnight of March. Moderate Western Disturbances are likely to become active around and after March 19. Due to its effect, rainfall activities may increase in Haryana, NCR and Delhi, due to which the temperature is likely to drop.
