New Delhi: India faced South Africa on Sunday in the Super-8 match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. In this match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Team India had to face defeat by a huge margin of 76 runs. Due to this defeat, India’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals have also suffered a big blow because the net run rate of Team India has been badly affected by this defeat.


After winning the toss, South Africa had decided to bat first. South Africa had scored 187 runs. In response, Team India collapsed on the score of 111. South Africa had made 4 changes in its team for this match. But the Indian team had entered this match without any changes.
