Baramati Plane Crash: The initial report of Baramati plane crash is likely to come by 28th February. Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol gave this information on Sunday. He said that the preliminary investigation report into the Learjet 45 plane crash that occurred on January 28 will be released within a month. A total of five people including NCP leader Ajit Pawar died in this accident. Since the incident, many kinds of speculations are being made regarding the matter.

Rohit Pawar made allegations

Meanwhile, Ajit Pawar’s nephew and NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar has made serious allegations against the private company that owns the plane. He has claimed that the company did not follow safety standards and there were some technical glitches. Rohit Pawar has raised questions on this issue in several press conferences and has demanded an impartial investigation into the entire matter.

At the same time, the Civil Aviation Ministry has issued a statement saying that all its regulatory bodies are committed to transparency and security. The ministry has appealed to the people not to make any speculations until the investigation is completed.

The matter is being investigated by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB). As part of the investigation, the debris is being closely examined, the operational and maintenance records of the aircraft are being examined and if necessary, lab testing of parts is being done.

The digital flight data recorder installed in the aircraft has been successfully downloaded at the AAIB Lab in New Delhi. However, the cockpit voice recorder has suffered thermal damage. Technical help has been sought from the company making it, so that the data can be extracted safely.

After the accident, DGCA has started a special audit of the concerned company VSR Ventures. In this, the operational system, maintenance process, crew training and safety management system are being examined. After the audit report comes, further action will be taken as per the rules.

The government says that the final report will be released at the appropriate time as per the prescribed procedure.
