Siddharthnagar, SP workers surrounded Itwa tehsil over the conspiracy to delete names by filling Form 7 fraudulently in the Voter List Revision Campaign SIR. On Saturday, the workers raised slogans under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey. The memorandum addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner was handed over to SDM Itwa Kunal. Demanded an impartial investigation into the irregularities and action against the culprit.

Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey said that BJP wants to kill democracy. People are becoming disillusioned with the BJP government. That’s why BJP is scared and a conspiracy is being hatched to erase the names of Muslims, backward classes and Dalits by targeting PADA. It won’t be tolerated.

Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey said that a leader threatens to intimidate us, we are going to struggle. Are not among those who are afraid. He said that action should be taken against those who are plotting, otherwise the workers will file a case in the court. Dumariyaganj MLA Syeda Khatoon said that if the disturbances do not stop, SP workers will start the jail bharo movement.

SP District President Lalji Yadav said that a memorandum is being given regarding voter list irregularities. Votes are being stolen. SP will fight at every level. We are not afraid of going to jail.

Demand from the administration that an impartial investigation should be conducted. SP District General Secretary Kamruzzaman Khan and Manindra Mishra said that SP is not going to bow down to any pressure from the government. State Secretary Bechai Yadach, Assembly Speaker Bablu Khan, General Secretary Abdul Latif also addressed.
