Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday participated in the program organized in Lucknow district on the occasion of ‘Police Memorial Day’. The Chief Minister paid humble tribute to the brave martyrs of Uttar Pradesh Police Force who sacrificed their lives at the altar of duty. He also assured the families of the martyred policemen that the government is committed to taking every necessary step with full sensitivity for their welfare and their facilities.

The Chief Minister further said, 3 brave policemen of Uttar Pradesh Police are also included among the martyrs who sacrificed their lives at the altar of duty in the year 2024-25. On this occasion of today, I pay homage to all the martyred policemen. I would like to assure the family members of the martyred policemen that our government has always been and will continue to be ready to take all necessary steps with full sensitivity for their welfare and all kinds of facilities.

Also said, this time 60,244 newly appointed police personnel in Uttar Pradesh Police Force are being trained on hybrid model. Along with physical fitness and legal knowledge, the training also includes technical skills, cyber crime investigation, sensitive communication, AI based models and simulation exercises. This is not only a modern training but also an innovative effort to prepare a new generation of police, which will strengthen the ground, technology and sensitivity equally.

The Chief Minister said, in the present environment, digital revolution has made our lives easier, while challenges like cyber crime have also come before us. The police force has taken concrete steps to take effective action against cyber crime.
